[As part of the remit to make the Untold LA iPad Book available to as many people as possible I'll be posting pages from the book in sequential order on a regular basis until it is completely online.]
We're almost at the end of the Introduction and, in continuing with the idea of showing people what to expect in the book, the following images from Pages 25, 26 and 27 demonstrate that many original interior fixtures of West Adams homes have been kept intact.
Above you can see an original, and still working, annunciator panel, in the Colonel Stearns Mansion in St. James Park, used to notify servants when they were wanted. Below is stained glass above a bathroom tub in Victoria Park and and built in table with drawers in Harvard Heights. Below that is a screen-grab of how the pages look in the Book itself.
